SUNY Potsdam Order of Omega Greek Honor Society

Last October the Chi Psi chapter of Order of Omega was founded at SUNY Potsdam.  Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of Greek organizations.

The organization recognizes juniors and seniors who have exemplified high standards in the areas of scholarship, leadership, involvement within their respective organization and within the Greek, campus, and local community. Members are selected from the top 3% of students at each institution. To date, over 500 chapters have been chartered throughout North America, each sharing the common goal of recognizing the many outstanding student leaders at their institution.

This past weekend the charter and Beta classes were inducted into the society at a ceremony held at the Fireside Lounge in the Student Union.  Congratulations to the new inductees.

Members of the charter class are Marielle Araujo (Omega, Secretary), Sara Behuniak (Arethusa), Katie Binder (Arethusa, Vice President), Stephanie Codd (Zeta, President), Tyler Gardiner (Delta), Diana Gugino (AST), Kellsie Jensen (Zeta), Christopher Knight (Sinfonia, Treasurer), Amber Perkins (Omega), and Jana Prager (Omega).

The Beta class members are Nickisha Dustin (Delta), Taylor Faiella (Omega), Megan Fritzching (Omega), Gabrielle Gapzynski (Omega), Asia Godzwon (Zeta), Raychel Rider (Omega) and Marianne Schumacher (Omega).
