The Iota Zeta chapter of national fraternity Sigma Chi was chartered at Clarkson on April 17, 1988. In 2012 they received the Peterson Significant Chapter Gold Award from their national. Their on-campus house was dedicated on April 20, 2013 and the first brothers moved in for the Fall 2013 semester.
